| Abstract | ||
| The current research aims to use the technique of thermoforming fabrics to present a new method for creating new formulations on mannequins by using some newly designed fabrics that represent a new image in changing the general shape of the cloth, in terms of texture, surface of the cloth and its use. This came to produce designs of an aesthetic form characterized by sophistication, consistent with the requirements of the modern era and fashion, and this technology depends on the interaction of textile fibers with heat of various degrees using the air heat gun. The research problem is crystallized in the following questions: To what extent can the proposed designs be implemented using the technology of thermal fabric scissors in ready-to-wear factories? What is the benefit of the fabric thermoforming technique in the decoration of the executed pieces? What is the possibility of making use of synthetic fabrics in creating suggested designs for women? How satisfied are the professionals with the proposed designs? The importance of the research is due to the fact that it is a new addition to the field of shaping on mannequin by using a heat source on the cloth as the use of completely different fabrics after giving different effects to the fabrics under study using modern techniques represented in the use of thermal scissors as well as to highlight the aesthetic appearance of the surface and texture of the fabric in the design method on The mannequin is also a new idea for other research through the use of thermal scissors to express the texture of the cloth and give it specific decorations. The study aimed to identify the materials that can be used in making designs on mannequins as well as measuring the acceptance of specialists to change the texture and surface of the cloth and employ the aesthetic and plastic properties of the fabrics under study in the draping. | ||
