| Abstract | ||
| This study aimed to identify the level of quality of health services provided to rural people and its dimensions separately before and during the new Corona epidemic from the point of view of both patients and medical staff, and to test the significance differences before and during the new Corona epidemic regarding the level of quality of health services provided to rural people and its dimensions separately from the point of view of both the patients and the medical staff. The study was conducted using the social survey method, the health unit in Saoud and the health unit in Samakin Al Sharq were chosen.The size of the patient sample reached 150 respondents, and the size of the medical staff sample was 35 respondents.Data were collected using a questionnaire form in a personal interview during the period from the end of July until the end of August 2020.Data were analyzed and presented using frequencies and percentages, Arithmetic Mean, Alpha Cronbach, Paired-Samples T test.The study concluded that the quality of health services before the new Corona epidemic was average from the point of view of more than half of the surveyed patients (57.3%), while the level of quality of health services during the new corona epidemic was low from the point of view of the majority of the surveyed patients (63.3%). The level of quality of health services before the newCorona epidemic was high from the point of view of less than half of the surveyed medical staff(48.6%), while the level of quality of health services during the new corona epidemic was average from the point of view ofmore than half of the surveyed medical staff (54.3%). There were significant differences before and during the new Corona epidemic at asignificant level of 0.01 regarding the level of quality of health services provided to rural people from the patients’ point of view in favor of the pre-epidemic of the new Corona with a higher Arithmetic mean of (98.97).There weresignificant differences before and during the new Corona epidemic at a significant level of 0.01 regarding the level of quality of health services provided to rural people from thepointof view of the medical staffin favor of the period before the new Corona epidemic with the highest Arithmetic mean of (116.34). | ||
