| The study aimed to identify the degree of knowledge of the respondents with disabilities about the legal protection of (health, education, vocational preparation and training, work, social protection, availability and facilitation, criminal protection, political and Syndication protection, culture, sports and recreation) rights in the law of the rights of disabled persons, identify the knowledge gap between males and females in the degree of their knowledge of the legal protection in Law, Testing the significance differences in the degree of knowledge of the respondents about the legal protection according to gender, identify The degree of applying the legal protection, , determine the knowledge importance of the legal protection, and determine the practical importance of the Legal protection. The study was conducted in Sharkia governorate based on the social survey methodology, where the Kafr Saqr Center was chosen using the simple random sampling method, then three villages were selected in the same method: Al-Qudah Village, Singha Village, and Al-Rubaa'in Village, and the sample size reached 162 respondents were selected by the method of regular random sample based on the records of the Rehabilitation Office at Kafr Saqr Center. Data were collected by questionnaire in a personal interview, from mid-June to the end of August 2020, and a set of statistical methods and tools were used: percentages, frequencies, arithmetic average, weighted average, and independent -Samples T test". The study reached several results: The degree of knowledge of disabled persons about legal protection was low for all rights, in the following percentages: health 70.4%, education 80.2%, vocational preparation and training 88.3%, work 74.7%, social protection 84%, availability and facilitation 84.5%, criminal protection 88.3%, political and syndication rights 85.2%, culture, sport and recreation 88.3%. It was also found that the degree of implementation the legal protection from the viewpoint of the respondents was low for all rights, in the following rates: health 87% education 90.7%, vocational preparation and training 93.2%, work 88.8%, social protection 87%, availability and facilitation 89.5%, criminal protection 92%, political and syndication rights 92%, culture, sports and recreation 91.3%. | ||
