| Abstract | ||
| The current study aims to identify the biometrics applications in libraries sectors, that can implement these systems, to achieve performance development and raise the rate of productivity and quality in their services. It also seeks to learn about the role of biometrics systems and their effects on the extent of safety levels in user’s authentication access to library services and activities. The study attempts to uncover the constraints and problems that may face the implementation of biometrics systems in libraries, and to anticipate the successes achieved by them to develop library services. The study focuses on addressing planning mechanisms for employing biometrics in the library sector in the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. To achieve the objectives of the study, a descriptive analytical research approach was used to identify the models and requirements for the application of biometrics systems in libraries, and the case study approach to analyze the frameworks and requirements of implementation in the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. | ||
