| Abstract | ||
| The current research aims at studying theParental Competenceto the Sonsand its Relationship ToSome Life Skills, The research was applied on a sample of (210) male and female students; from first preparatory, and from different economic and social levels. The study lasted for(two) months; and the research followed the "Analytic Descriptive Approach". The research's data was collected through the use of the "General Data Form" and the scale of "Parental Competence to the Sons and Life Skills Questionnaire" To analyze the data, the researcher used the following tools: frequency, percentages, the arithmetic mean, the standard deviation, the degrees of freedom, Chi-squared Test, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient, t- Test, and Analysis of Variance, Tukey's Test, , and F-Test. The most Important Results came as follows: There were statistically significant differences at the level of (0.01) between the averages of the sample's degree response to identifying the scale of Parental Competence to the Sonsand its Relationship ToSome Life Skills at each one of its axes; according to the "Gender" (in favor of the male students); according to the "Father's and mother's Educational Level", according to the "His decision and follow-up in the family". There were no statistically significant differences between the sample's degree response to identifying the scale of Parental Competence to the Sonsand its Relationship ToSome Life Skills at each one of its axes according to the "Order between the siblings", according to the family size (family members) . There was a significant direct correlation at the level of (0.01) between the scale of Parental Competence to the Sonsand its Relationship toSome Life Skills at each one of its axes. | ||
