| This research deals with studying the record of registering the proces – verbal of religious lawsuits during the period 1268 AH / 1852 AD - 1272 AH / 1856 AD, archival and documentary in terms of defining the record and its importance, procedures for conducting lawsuits and issuing judgments therein, studying and publishing samples of the documents included in it, along with creating archival description cards for these forms according to the international codification of the Archival description (TADO). The National Archives House contains many documents and records of the Diwans that resulted from the activity of the Diwans and institutions in the nineteenth century, and many of them have not been discovered yet, and they have not been used to enrich the historical, documentary and archival studies My choice of this topic is due to several reasons, including: The record of registering the records of process-verbal of religious lawsuits in the Khedive Diwan or publishing any of its documents was not previously studied, shedding light on the juridical competencies of the Khedive Diwan and finally encouraging researchers to study the documents and records of Diwans in the nineteenth century because they include very important archival, documentary and historical information . | ||
