| Modern technologies have given us new horizons to develop the use of Arabic calligraphy in different ways to show its artistic value more strongly and clearly through designing jewellery, and modern technologies have revolutionized the design and production of jewellery and opened new fields for the designer to integrate the past and the urban by choosing Arabic calligraphy and its high artistic value to produce contemporary jewellery with modern techniques that were difficult to produce with the accuracy and high quality that we couldn’t have it without modern technologies in design and production. The research attempts to study the link between the present and the past through advanced technology and the use of Arabic calligraphy as an entrance to the production of contemporary jewellery designs. From here, the research problem can be identified to make the best use of the artistic value possessed by Arabic calligraphy in the three-dimensional design through the design of contemporary jewellery. The research deals with Arabic calligraphy in terms of the importance of modern techniques and technological development of computer science used in the design process in Arabic calligraphy and its high value in a different way from what was previously covered. The importance of the research lies in linking heritage and modern technology to produce designs for contemporary jewellery in Arabic calligraphy. The research follows the descriptive-analytical method and the experimental method. One of the most important results of the research is obtaining contemporary jewellery designs in Arabic calligraphy. | ||
