| Abstract | ||
| In this study, we define water security as the availability of excellent and sufficient water for health, production, and life requirements. Without global water security, it is impossible to achieve sustainable development. Concerns about the intrinsic value of water and its importance to human existence and health contribute to a water-safe world. Water security is now a major concern around the world. As a result, in light of the obstacles and complications that have accompanied the country's enormous changes, it is vital to investigate the topic of water security and the amount of its contribution to sustainable development, as well as to explain the means of maintaining it. In addition, an explanation of how to deal with water difficulties that may arise in some countries where water is an important supply and the rest of the state's activities rely on it is provided, in addition to the magnitude of its impact on the national economy. Water is also vital to humans since it is one of the beginnings of life and one of the secrets without which life cannot exist. There are several water sources throughout the world. Egypt's water sources include the Nile River, groundwater, rainwater, sanitary and agricultural sewage, and seawater desalination. These sources are classified as conventional (such as the Nile River, groundwater, and rainwater) and non-traditional (such as wastewater and seawater desalination). نتعرض في هذا البحث لتعريف الأمن المائي علي انه الكمية المتوفرة من الماء الجيد والكافي للصحة والإنتاج ومتطلبات الحياة. فلا يمكن تحقيق التنمية المستدامة بدون امن مائي في العالم. يتكامل العالم الآمن مائيا مع القلق علي قيمة الماء الجوهرية وبما يتعلق بأهميته لبقاء الإنسان وصحته. وفي الوقت الحالي أصبح الأمن المائي يحتل مكانا كبيرا في العالم . لما يتضح من أهمية المياه وتأثيرها في تحقيق التنمية . والمساعدة في حفظ الأمن والسلم في البلدان . ولذلك في ظل التحديات والتعقيدات التي رافقت التغيرات الكبيرة التي تمر بها البلاد وجب التوجه بالبحث إلي موضوع الأمن المائي ومدي مساهمته في التطوير والتنمية المستدامة، وبيان أساليب المحافظة عليه. وكذلك بيان كيفية مواجهة التحديات التي قد تحدث للمياه في بعض البلاد والتي تعد المياه مصدرا هاما فيها ويتوقف عليه باقي أنشطة الدولة. وكذلك مدى تأثيره علي الاقتصاد القومي. ويعد الماء مهم أيضاً للإنسان لأنه يأتي بعد أكسجين الهواء مباشرة، فالماء أصل من أصول الحياة وسر من أسرارها التي لا يمكن للحياة ان توجد بدونه. وتتعدد مصادر المياه في العالم, ففي مصر مصادر المياه هي نهر النيل والمياه الجوفية ومياه الامطار ومياه الصرف سواء الصحي او الزراعي وكذلك تحلية مياه البحار. وتنقسم هذه المصادر إلى مصادر تقليدية تتضمن نهر النيل و المياه الجوفية ومياه الأمطار، وأخرى غير تقليدية وتشمل مياه الصرف وتحليه مياه البحر . | ||
