| Intellectual property in its simplest connotations according to the World Intellectual Property Organization: WIPO refers to all the creations of the mind, including inventions, literary and artistic works, designs, logos, names and pictures used in commerce (WIPO, Publication No. 450 (E), What is Intellectual Property? Www.wipo.int) we currently live in an accelerating world at technological, cultural and technical levels. there is a huge amount of science and knowledge, innovations, and ideas that have been explored, and invested in various fields, so that we can say today that we are facing the era of the art intellectual revolution. It is evident to human beings that the global struggle now is a race towards Progress , Therefore it can be said that determining the power of the state has become dependent on the amount of intellectual rights it possesses. The difference in the ownership of these rights between countries results in a wide variation in the degree of production, its quality, the level of national income, alongside the standard of living of the individual. It is also a concern that the voice of the state in international art forums becomes more and more louder the more it possesses these rights. Since the field of intellectual property protection is necessarily based on preserving all kinds of intellectual creativity and its various fields, it is related in the first place to two aspects that are the basis in this framework, one of which is the institutional aspect and the other is the art organizational aspect. The international and legislative references that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia joined. It is also concerned with protecting intellectual property rights in the second section, focusing on the arts sector in Saudi legislation | ||
