| Abstract | ||
| Since the early twentieth century, art has witnessed an intellectual and plastic change in all artistic and technical fields, and these changes had a great impact in opening new horizons for art, as the artist’s interest was directed to the scientific content to benefit from it in keeping with the times and expressing it. This prompted metal forming artists to continue researching and experimenting with traditional plastic methods to reach artistic and plastic approaches to treating metal surfaces that enrich the field of metalworking. The artists of mineral formation relied on dealing with acid etching in their artistic works, with the aim of highlighting the aesthetics of the metalwork with what it creates in terms of tangible and formative value. Expressive connotations through which the artist can express his ideas with a new artistic vision, as acid etching is considered one of the methods of treating metal surfaces through which various tactile effects can be obtained that enrich the metalwork, in addition to the possibility of controlling the realization of various plastic bodies according to the design to be executed Flat or preformed metal surfaces. | ||
