| Abstract | ||
| Manuscripts are one of the treasures of the Islamic nation. Because they represent the primary sources of information about the early Islamic ages, the living memory of a nation whose history spanned more than fifteen centuries, and an important part of the precious intellectual heritage left to us by the ancients. Rather, it is the most valuable vocabulary of our heritage, and the link between the past and the present. The manuscripts that were created by the hand of the Arab writer before the invention of printing vary, and museums and libraries of the world abound in them in various fields of knowledge (medicine - engineering - astronomy - chemistry - literature - poetry - linguistics - hadith - interpretation - ... etc.). In this research there is a classification of the types of manuscripts, whether written in the author’s or scribes’ handwriting, treasury manuscripts that were written for sultans and princes, dated manuscripts that the scribe mentioned the date of their copy, and those that contain pictures, rare and unique in their kind, in addition to dated manuscripts and Suspended, hybrid and others.And manuscripts we look forward to the Arab history in general, but on history and Islamic heritage from one of its main sources. | ||
