| Abstract | ||
| The research sheds light on the optimal choice of materials for external cladding, so it is considered complementary to the design of the outer casing of architectural facades, because the language of the material helps to highlight the aesthetic value of the plastic treatments of design, the merging of material with the design achieves a desired goal, which is evident through the design capabilities of the decorated designer. The outer casing of the architectural facades combined with the selection of the materials used that serve the form in the first place and then narrate the history and philosophical content of the design in the second place, and the raw materials for the external cladding represent one of the technological elements that witnessed a remarkable development in the twentieth century and was associated with architectural beautification where traditional materials were used and the development of their use and new ones And it is considered an apparent influence of its importance on the perceptual vision of design from several important aspects such as proportions, color, texture and others in the service of the design idea in accordance with the nature of the tasks of each institution, in addition to the diversity of the nature of the materials, some of them are agile materials GRP or interactive such as smart materials and others are easy to form such as credit, where it is determined The choice of material is based on its flexibility, the more flexible, light materials are used, the more The flexibility of the formation and the increase in the connection and continuity between the design elements, which gives the opportunity for the decorated designer to create advanced designs in rhythm and color and to use all the means available to him to adapt the materials to add an artistic and aesthetic appearance to the covers of buildings. What is more is the possibility of using certain materials to clad the outer covers of buildings and to treat them as a piece of plastic art, which changes the shape of the building as if it is reviving it again, based on the purpose of changing the facade of the building if it is for the purpose of renewal and repair or to change its identity. In both cases, the materials are adapted for cladding according to the executed design to achieve both aesthetic and functional value. | ||
