| Abstract | ||
| The exchange rate is a key macroeconomic factor that affects international trade and the real economy of each country. The development of international trade creates conditions where volatility comes with the exchange rate. The purpose of this paper is to Addressing the effect of exchange rate, types rate types, and systems and its fluctuations in Egypt in recent years, Addressing the effect of economic growth history, determinates and trends and the benefits of economic growth in Egypt economy, Estimating the relationship between Exchange rate and economic growth, Exchange rate is the main indicator which affects the price of products and services which affects the level of transaction on international trade and capital movement between countries. The empirical analysis is based on data spanning the period of 1990–2020. Exchange rate volatility is calculated in different ways as an auto Regressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) and results show that measures of exchange rate volatility has a significant negative impact on economic growth. | ||
