| Abstract | ||
| The main objective of the research was studying the feasibility of investing in turning jasmine flowers into paste and oil, A stratified random sample was drawn from 6 factories producing jasmine pastes and essential oils in Gharbia Governorate during the agricultural season 2020/2021 were collected by personal interview, and secondary data secured from different sources. The results of the research showed that: 1- Areas planted, feddan productivity and production of jasmine crop in El-Gharbia Governorate have been increasing, with statistically significant rates. 2- Quantity and value of Egyptian exports of jasmine paste to the world have been increasing, with statistically significant rates. 3- The internal rate of return (IRR) on investment amounted to about 33.37%, the payback period of the project was about 3 years, and the value of the profitability index rose to about 1.59. 4- The research results showed high sensitivity project to change in the price of jasmine paste which has been ranked as the highest risk elements, plus to the change in the prices of jasmine oil, the price of solvent, and finally the price of diesel. | ||
