| Abstract | ||
| Always from the Pharonic times till the Roman period, the ancient egyptians cared about showing the value and the beauty of their art and that through the inscriptions and metal pieces which display at different museums from them many jewelleries that women and queens ornamented by them. These jewellery show the nature of the society and its culture over ages. And this is what appeared on the scenes at tombs and from the discovery of antiques with different mummies. When Greek came to Egypt also they cared about showing the features of their culture and this is appeared from the antiques that dated back to this period, and this was continued after the Roman came to Egypt who cared about portraited their gods and emprors who ruled Egypt from Rome on many special pieces. And to the present time always the purpose of jewellery were to ornamented women, men and children, and after that it was restricted to women and children, also it were used a protective amulets which its concept differed from one era to another. So the aim of the research to bring out the value of the art and the decoration of the Royal Roman jewellery, and also to illustrate the most used materials and the different types of jewellery, and that from the study and analysis through some special pieces which preserved at international and national museums that made at Egypt from the Roman period. | ||
