| Abstract | ||
| The research aimed to determine the degree to which rural families carry out agricultural activities related to plant and animal production, and the relationship of the studied independent variables to the degree to which the studied families perform these activities, and the determinants of the studied families’ carrying out these activities. agricultural crops in the village, and data were collected in a personal interview with the respondents during the months of March and April 2021 AD, using a questionnaire form prepared for this purpose, and after collecting the data, it was unloaded and statistically analyzed and used for that frequency, percentages, weighted average, Pearson simple correlation coefficient, and regression coefficient. The most important results were as follows: More than half of the respondents (54.1%) have a high level of their families' agricultural activities related to plant production. The majority of respondents (69.4%) have a high level of their families' agricultural activities related to animal production. - It was found that there is a positive direct correlation between the following independent variables: age, number of family members, number of children working in agriculture, years of experience with agricultural work, size of agricultural holding, size of animal holding, and between the degree to which the family performs agricultural activities related to plant production, and agricultural activities related to production. animal. - It was found that there are six variables that collectively contribute by 45.6% to explaining the total variance between the respondents in terms of the degree to which the family engages in agricultural activities as a whole. These determinants are: the size of the agricultural holding, the number of family members working in agriculture, the number of years of experience in agricultural work, the size of the animal holding, age, the number of agricultural workers family members. Among the most important problems that affect the family's carrying out of agricultural activities are the lack of agricultural production requirements, their high prices, the difficulty of marketing agricultural crops, the high interest rate on loans, and the unavailability of veterinarians. | ||
