| Abstract | ||
| Theater art differs from other arts in that it has different dimensions and topics such as drama, music, show and tragedy, where the theatrical scene designer must be familiar with the subject of the show if it is comic, musical or dramatic so that the theatrical image is expressive of the subject of the show. And because the theater is an integrated work of art, the study assumes that there are three basic elements in the formation of the theatrical image, and they are space - the background - the human body. : Adolph Appia, Edward Craig, each distinguished by his philosophy and his own vision in the theatrical image, where the research deals with the analysis of their theatrical scenes, and the tools of artwork that must be available to achieve an integrated visual theatrical image. Research problem: many theatrical performances lack the relationship between the performer and the theater space and the plastic background, the importance of the research: access to an integrated visual theatrical image, and knowing how the relationship between the performer, theatrical space and the plastic background works by benefiting from theatrical view designers Adolphe Appiah and Craig. Research objectives: to reach the plastic elements that link the performer with the theatrical space, also to shed light on the relationship between theatrical space and the spectator, and how to achieve an integrated visual image in the theater that achieves the content of the show. Research Methodology: Analytical Approach Results: The unity of the arts is the basis for the integration of the theatrical image, the element of rhythm is one of the most important elements to be achieved in the theatrical space, the contrast between the flat plastic background and the performer’s three-dimensional body leads to an illusion to the spectator, and the element of light adds a formative, expressive and symbolic value in theatrical picture.
