| Abstract | ||
| The main premise behind this study is to provide a critical appreciation of the global refugee crisis, dislocation, and causalities of war. It mainly focuses on the homeless individuals who are forced to flee their war-torn homeland for the sake of hospitality, promising job opportunities and secured lives. The study scrutinizes the narrative techniques and familiar structure devices the writer, Dave Eggers, adopts to depict the Lost Boys' traumatic experiences in South Sudan as a result of the civil war, such as the middle voice, blending fact with fiction, and the self-conscious style of narration. The themes' significance stems from clarifying the traumatic impact of asylum seekers' suffering. يتمثل المُنطلَق الرئيسي لهذه الدراسة في تقديم عرض نقدي لأزمة اللجوء العالمية، وللنزوح، ولويلات الحروب. فهي ترکز على المُشرَّدين من الأفراد الذين أُجبروا على الهرب من وطنهم الذي مزقته الحروب ؛ باحثين عن الإواية، وفرص العمل السانحة، والحياة الآمنة بالإضافة فانها ترکز علي تقنيات السرد الأدوات البنائية المَألُوفة التي استعان بها الکاتب ديف إيجرز کي يجسد التجارب الصادمة التي لاقاها الصبية المُشرَّدون في جنوب السودان من جراء الحرب الأهلية، ومنها الصوت الوسيط، ومزج الواقع بالخيال، وأسلوب الوعي بالذات عند السرد وتَکمُن أهمية هذه الدراسة في عرضها الأثرَ الصادم لمعاناة اللاجئين. | ||
