Abstract
This study aimed to shed light on the Contribution of foreign trade in economic development during the study period (96/1997 - 2008/2009). By recognizing the importance of the current Egyptian foreign trade in general. Agricultural and industrial ones in particular. In addition to studying the evolution of the total balance of trade. agricultural. industrial and direction of the deficit in each of them. As well as identify the impact of the national income change in the values of total agricultural exports and imports. Change impact on agricultural income values of agricultural exports and imports. Income change impact on the industrial values of industrial exports and imports
