| Abstract | ||
| The Research aimed to identify the reasons that led to spread of the encroachment on future expansions lands phenomenon in Bustan area, the problems that resulted from this phenomenon, identify the positive aspects that resulted from it, determine the degree of social acceptance of individuals trespassing on the future expansions lands in Bustan area as members within the local community. And to identify the respondents' suggestions to overcome this phenomenon. This Research was conducted on a sample of 273 respondents in three villages of Bustan area: Hafez Ibrahim, Sheikh Muhammad Refaat, and Imam Muhammed Metwally Al-Shaarawy. The data was collected by a questionnaire with personal interview with the respondents during months of November and December 2021. After collecting data, it was unloaded and statistically analyzed using SPSS. Numerical Tables, frequencies, percentages, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and weighted mean were used in presenting of results. The Most Important Results were as follows: Nearly two-thirds of the respondents (63.4%) came in the middle-level category in terms of their approval of the reasons that led to the spread of the encroachment on future expansions lands phenomenon. The most important problems that resulted from this phenomenon were the multiplicity of theft cases within villages and farms, with a percentage of 94.1% and 92.7%, respectively. The degree of social acceptance of transgressive people in the local community was low, as nearly half of the respondents (49.5%) came in the low level category. The most important suggestions of respondents to overcome this phenomenon is necessity of complete and urgent removal of all encroachments in the area villages. | ||
