| Abstract | ||
| architecture and urbanism in the desert communities in Egypt, which are represented by Egyptian oases, especially the Bahariya oases, which are among the most important areas with distinctive cultural heritage. The building was associated with the environment and formed itself to cope in the conditions of the harsh desert and achieved its unparalleled sustainability with architecture and urbanization. It contained many architectural vocabularies formed through coexistence and frequent experiences associated with the living and economic aspect until it produced a unique architectural style balanced with all elements of architecture and urbanization from villages to reaching the streets, and fromhouses of all kinds, hotels and mosques of different models formed across successive generations and cultures, until they reached our present age. After the cultural openness of the 21st century, the Internet and social media spread, making the whole world as one place in a small village. as a result, Cultural legacy affected, which has led to the introduction of modern and unsustainable patterns on the environment ،that costs energy and increases economic burdens on the one hand and wastes the identity urbanism Al-Wahaty architecture on the other. This has necessitated their study and analysis and the development of a phased plan for resisting the urbanization of these areas, particularly maritime oases .The research seeks to recognize the importance of the architecture and the Bahariya oasis with its distinctive character and cultural legacy. The study of this urban and theoretically formative factors and consequently the monitoring of changes to this inheritance are part of the research's duties. The research presents the distinction between the ancient cultural heritage of the oases, both urban and architectural, and the changes currently occurring. It illustrates the shape of the building and architecture of its different types and its successive periods as an input to solving the problem. The research outlines each body concerned, whether administrative or executive, with recommendations to be applied by presenting and analyzing the research. | ||
