| Abstract | ||
| Abstract : This study aimed to reveal the status-quo of the role of school activities in highlighting the characteristics of the talented among the primary school students. The study used the descriptive methods and made use of a questionnaire for collecting data that was administered to a sample consisting of 243 primary school teachers distributed over the six educational districts in Kuwait (Al-Ahmadi - Al-Farwaniyah - Jahra - Hawally - Al-Asimah - Mubarak Al-Kabeer). The results of the study indicated that the total role of school activities in highlighting the characteristics of the talented among the primary school students came to a medium degree, and that the status-quo of the role of school activities in highlighting the characteristics of the talented in terms of (mental, cognitive, social, and physical) among primary school students from the viewpoints of teachers came to a degree Medium, while the status-quo of the role of school activities in highlighting the characteristics of the talented in terms of (emotional) among primary school students from the viewpoints of teachers to a high degree. The results also indicated that there were differences in the responses of the study sample due to the gender variable in favor of females, and there were no differences in the sample responses due to the variables of the educational region. Keywords: School Activities, Gifted, The Talented, Creativity. الملخص: هدف الدراسة الكشف عن واقع دور الأنشطة المدرسية في إبراز خصائص الموهبة لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الابتدائية، واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي واعتمدت على الاستبانة في جمع البيانات، وطبقت على عينة بلغت (243) معلمًا ومعلمة بالمرحلة الابتدائية موزعين على المناطق التعليمية الست بالكويت (الأحمدي – الفروانية – الجهراء – حولي – العاصمة – مبارك الكبير). وأشارت النتائج إلى أن إجمالي دور الأنشطة المدرسية في إبراز خصائص الموهبة لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الابتدائية جاء بدرجة متوسطة، وأن واقع دور الأنشطة المدرسية في إبراز خصائص الموهبة من النواحي (العقلية والمعرفية، والاجتماعية، والجسمية) لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الابتدائية من وجهة نظر المعلمين والمعلمات جاء بدرجة متوسطة، بينما جاء واقع دور الأنشطة المدرسية في إبراز خصائص الموهبة من الناحية (الانفعالية) لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الابتدائية من وجهة نظر المعلمين والمعلمات بدرجة مرتفعة، كما أشارت النتائج لوجود فروق في استجابات عينة الدراسة تعزى لمتغير النوع لصالح الإناث، وعدم وجود فروق في استجابات عينة الدراسة تعزى لمتغير المنطقة التعليمية. الكلمات المفتاحية: الأنشطة المدرسية – الموهوبون – الموهبة – الإبداع | ||
