| Abstract | ||
| The study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of using the ThingLink digital platform to produce interactive digital content for the information institutions course to achieve the course learning outcomes represented in providing students with the basic knowledge and skills related to the different types of a number of information institutions, Through an experimental study conducted in the academic year 2021/2022 AD, descriptive and experimental research methodology was used to investigate the study problem. Thirty-seven female students enrolled in the course "Information Institutions", CODE LIBR209, participated in the study They were randomly divided into two groups, one of which was the experimental group which studied the interactive digital content prepared through the digital platform.; The second was the control group which studied the same content in the traditional way. The results of the study revealed an improvement in the cognitive performance of the students of the experimental group, compared to the performance of the students of the control group. Also, the results revealed that high levels of satisfaction were achieved by the students of the experimental group with the learning experience via the ThingLink platform. Considering these results, the study made recommendations that benefit both the library department professors and their students to enhance the use of the ThingLink platform in teaching and learning curricula for all the library and information department courses in particular, and other university courses in general to bridge the gap between education in its traditional form and the modern digital learner style. | ||
