| Abstract | ||
| The research aims to show the importance of sustainable urban transportation in finding an attraction element for residents to stay in the new cities in Egypt which they didn't achieve any of their aimed rates in the fields of population and urban growth according to their time programs. Accordingly, the research shows the reasons of why the new cities in Egypt didn't achieve their goals, one of them is that there were no attraction elements for residents to stay in the new cities in Egypt; which include that there is no enough internal and external transportation. Accordingly, this research shows the weakness in transportation services in new cities in Egypt, and the strategy of sustainable urban transportation that must be followed to achieve resident's needs in easy, safe transportation with adequate service level, as long with demonstrate of what Egypt has done in this field to achieve the strategy in order to rapid the development rates in these cities, increase attraction elements, and raise percentage of occupancy. The research concluded that it is essential to provide attractive elements for residents to occupy in new cities in Egypt; one of the most important is providing sustainable urban transportation by putting several social, economic, and environmental aspects for transportation. يهدف البحث الى بيان أهمية النقل الحضرى المستدام فى ايجاد عامل جذب لتوطن السكان فى المدن الجديدة فى مصر و التى لم تحقق معدلات مستهدفة فى مجالات النمو السكان و العمرانى طبقا للبرامج الزمنية التى أنشئت عل أساسها, و لذلك يتناول البحث أسباب عدم تحقيق المدن الجديدة فى مصر أهدافها, و التى منها عدم وجود عوامل جذب للسكان للاقامة فى المدن الجديدة فى مصر, و التى تتضمن عدم توفر وسائل مواصلات داخلية وخارجية كافية, و وفقا لهذا يوضح هذا البحث قصور خدمة النقل فى المدن الجديدة فى مصر, و استراتيجية النقل الحضرى المستدام التى يجب اتباعها لتحقيق احتياجات السكان فى التنقل بسهولة ويسر وأمان و بمستوى خدمة مناسب, بالاضافة الى عرض ما عملته مصر فى هذا المجال لتحقيق هذه الاستراتيجية من أجل الاسراع بمعدلات تنمية فى تلك المدن، و زيادة عوامل جذب السكان إليها، و رفع نسب الإشغال بها. و قد خلص البحث بأنه يجب ايجاد عوامل جذب للسكان للتوطن فى المدن الجديدة فى مصر و من أهمها توفير وسائل نقل حضرى مستدام و ذلك بوضع عدة أسس اجتماعية و أسس اقتصادية و أسس بيئية للنقل. | ||
