| Abstract | ||
| The study focuses on the concepts of urban resilience, the reasons for its emergence and development, and its relationship to urban spaces, as the concept of urban resilience has become popular due to the increasing sense of uncertainty and insecurity and the search for formulas for adaptation, survival, and the ability to withstand sudden events, as these events include all types of natural disasters as well as human-made disasters, crises, and other social, economic, and environmental changes. It is logical to consider urban spaces as arenas for achieving urban resilience in cities, as they are like a second city in times of emergency. Therefore, the research studies the concept of urban resilience and the efforts of the United Nations and its initiative to achieve urban resilience in cities and the emergence of a set of global frameworks and measurement tools and the extraction of the most comprehensive and appropriate framework for the space scale for the Egyptian urban reality, with the extrapolation of a set of indicators for theoretical visions and the analysis of a set of global experiences of urban spaces in which urban resilience has been achieved and the emergence of a framework or model to measure the performance of flexible urban spaces and its application to the Egyptian case and reaching some conclusions and recommendations to make urban spaces more flexible and resilient. تركز الدراسة على مفاهيم المرونة الحضرية وأسباب نشأتها وتطورها وعلاقتها بالفراغات العمرانية، حيث أصبح مفهوم المرونة الحضرية شائعًا بسبب زيادة الشعور بعدم اليقين وانعدام الأمن والبحث عن صيغ للتكيف والبقاء والقدرة علي الصمود أمام الاحداث المفاجئة حيث تشمل هذه الأحداث جميع أنواع الكوارث الطبيعية وكذلك الكوارث البشرية التي من صنع الإنسان والأزمات والتغيرات الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والبيئية الأخرى. من المنطقي اعتبار الفراغات العمرانية ساحات لتحقيق المرونة الحضرية في المدن فهي بمثابة مدينة ثانية وقت الطوارئ ، لذلك يقوم البحث بدراسة مفهوم المرونة الحضرية وجهود الأمم المتحدة ومبادرتها لتحقيق المرونة الحضرية في المدن وخروج مجموعة من الأطر وأدوات القياس العالمية واستخلاص الإطار الأكثر شمولا وملائمة لمقياس الفراغ للواقع العمراني المصري مع استقراء مجموعة من المؤشرات لرؤي نظرية وتحليل مجموعة من التجارب العالمية لفراغات عمرانية تم تحقيق المرونة الحضرية بها والخروج بأطار او نموذج لقياس أداء الفراغات العمرانية المرنة وتطبيقة على حالة مصرية والوصول الي بعض الاستنتاجات والتوصيات لجعل الفراغات العمرانية أكثر مرونة وقدرة علي الصمود. | ||
