| Abstract | ||
| The textile industry in Yemen during the fourth century (4AH / 10AD) has assumed a high position. Only in the Islamic world, has there been a kind of textile known as "Ikat", which has been associated with it and its agricultural land until it became a precious metal, this type of fabric is a special method in dyeing and technology of industry. It also has distinctive decorations unique to other types of textiles. The research deals with the study of this type of fabric, through a recipe, the method of its manufacture, the methods used in the decoration, Research the reading of the inscription inscribed on it, the type of font, the form it, and the method of execution on the fabric, Through a collection of pieces not previously studied in European and international museums, as well as other pieces in the Egyptian Textile Museum and Museum of Islamic Art, which helps to take a sufficient picture of the forms of weaving, of textiles in various museums. | ||
