| This research paper explores the aesthetics of the artistic image in the context of the crisis between the physical and the digital realms. The advent of digital technology has significantly transformed the creation, dissemination, and interpretation of artistic images, leading to a profound shift in aesthetic experiences. This study investigates the evolving relationship between the physical and the digital in contemporary art and examines how this crisis influences the aesthetics of the artistic image. Through a critical analysis of relevant literature, art theories, and case studies, this research explores the tensions, challenges, and opportunities presented by the collision of the physical and the digital in the realm of visual arts. It delves into concepts such as authenticity, materiality, temporality, and the role of the viewer in shaping the aesthetic perception of the artistic image. By examining the impact of digital technologies, virtual environments, and internet culture on artistic practices, this study aims to shed light on the evolving aesthetics in the digital age.
