| Abstract | ||
| Approximate Bayes estimates of the reliability functions are obtained for the Birnbaum - Saunders distribution. A numerical example based on actual fatigue data is given. Based on Monte Carlo simulation, Bayes estimates of reliability are compared with its maximum likelihood counterpart. | ||
