| Abstract | ||
| Following the recent Meeden-Ghosh technique for establishing the admissibility of estimators in finite population sampling problems, an admissible estimator for a class of parametric functions namely the population counterpart of a two sample U-statistic is constructed. Special cases of this result are given and a possible generalization is also discussed. | ||
