| Abstract | ||
| The fierce competition with foreign products sweeping the local markets necessitates an attempt to create contemporary designs based on reliance on the national and cultural heritage of our Arab and Islamic nation. By identifying the emergence of Arabic writing before and after the advent of Islam, then we move on to the emergence of the Moroccan script and identify the stages of its development through the different ages to identify the diversifications of Moroccan scripts and their differences in form and content, as well as the distinct characteristics of the Moroccan script. The research deals with the study of values, especially aesthetic values, and their importance for the individual and society, including the concept of movement and its value in design, its psychological, objective and creative effects, and the various types it includes that help highlight the aesthetics of the artwork, in addition to knowing the patterns of movement and its variables and its perception of the viewer through natural and other industrial means. for movement. In the end, the researcher came up with finding new innovative design solutions that are compatible with modern printed furnishing fabrics, by benefiting from her analytical study of models of Arabic calligraphy, domes and minarets in the Maghreb. The artist’s creation of something stems from his inner sense and his innate creativity in switching from imagination to reality, which results in a work of art that depends on a free, sane will (the concept of art philosophically, https://mawdoo3.com), and art is linked to beauty, which makes the artist interested in achieving it in various forms. The design requires collecting and organizing the elements in a new distinctive way based on personal experiences and adding the value of the movement through its psychological, objective and creative effects to the design. Especially the art of Islamic written motifs, and the element of movement appeared through the movement of the pen in writing Arabic calligraphy, and the movement of lines became the main structural building for linear formations through vertical axes - horizontal axes - oblique axes - curves, and the architecture of the Maghreb countries was represented as an Islamic style with a special, distinctive and compatible character. With planning patterns, he mentioned them, especially the minarets and domes that cover parts of mosques and the capitals of columns (Salah Ahmed Al-Bahnasy, n.d., p. 4). The research focuses on studying the aesthetic values of movement in the elements of Arabic calligraphy and mixing them with the forms of Moroccan minarets and domes to create printed furnishing fabrics with contemporary artistic aesthetic values. Statement of the problem: The research problem is: How to benefit from blending the movement of the elements of Arabic calligraphy, domes and minarets in Morocco to create upholstery fabrics printed on woven fabrics that carry contemporary aesthetic values. Objective: The research aims to: Creating designs for printed and contemporary textile upholstery fabrics using digital printing by mixing Arabic calligraphy elements in the forms of domes and minarets in Morocco by: - Conducting a historical theoretical study of Arabic calligraphy, minarets and domes in Morocco, to emphasize the common links between the vocabulary of Islamic art. - Technical analytical study of the value of movement in models of Moroccan Arabic calligraphy and decorative architectural elements on minarets and domes in Morocco. Importance: 1. Academic importance: to develop systematic methods for developing the design of printed textile furnishing fabrics. 2. Artistic importance: Contribute to the development of the traditional archaeological perspective of heritage arts, and draw inspiration from them in a contemporary way for printed textile furnishings. 3. Cultural significance: represented in enriching the Arab library with analytical and applied studies that link the aesthetic value of movement in the elements of Arabic calligraphy and the forms of domes and minarets in Morocco. Delimitations: 1. Time limits: - It includes the beginning of the spread of Arabic calligraphy and Islamic architecture in Morocco from the first century of migration / seventh AD) until the Saadian era in Morocco (916-1069 AH / 1554-1659 AD). - The Moroccan urban style began in the year (479 AH / 1056 AD) and extended for nine centuries. 2. Spatial boundaries: The decorative elements of Islamic architecture (minarets and domes) in Morocco are studied. Innovative applied artwork in textile printing for the study to suit the Egyptian taste. 3. Objective Boundaries: It includes creating designs for contemporary printed textile furnishings that carry aesthetic values by drawing inspiration from the aesthetic values of movement in Moroccan Arabic calligraphy and mixing with minarets and domes in Morocco. Methodology: The research will be based on: 1. Historical Method: By studying the stages of development of Arabic calligraphy, domes and minarets in Morocco. 2. The analytical descriptive approach: - Through the description and technical analysis of distinctive models of Arabic calligraphy decorations, domes and minarets in Morocco. - Technical analysis of innovative designs. 3. The experimental approach (applied art): This is in design and implementation experiments with research. Results: 1- The historical theoretical study of each of the Arabic calligraphy in Morocco and the Moroccan granaries and domes showed that the Arab Maghreb is full of artistic cultural heritage and works of art dating back to the beginnings of the Islamic era, in which the features, characteristics and aesthetics of Islamic art are manifested. 2- The analytical study of a set of models of artworks of Arabic calligraphy in Morocco, as well as Islamic motifs on domes and minarets in Morocco that would reveal the values, aesthetics and manifestations of Islamic art in Morocco that contributes to creating an unlimited number of contemporary design ideas. 3- The in-depth study of the arts contributes to the development of the traditional perspective of the artist-designer in the direction of the contemporary artistic taste for the design of printed textile furnishings. 4- The research was able to reach a group of innovative designs that are suitable for printing on contemporary furnishing fabrics, by mixing the elements of Arabic calligraphy in the forms of Moroccan domes and silos. 5- The use of methods and computer applications and its programs in the design of units and elements to create designs suitable for contemporary printed textile fabrics, as well as employing a proposal that would save effort and time in obtaining innovative designs and thus a more distinctive contemporary product. | ||
