| Abstract | ||
| هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى معرفة درجة تأثير اضطراب التوحد على الأشقاء والشقيقات داخل الأسرة وعلاقته بالقلق الاجتماعي، بلغ عدد أفراد عينة الدراسة (82) شقيقا وشقيقة، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، قامت الباحثة ببناء أداتين للدراسة، وقد تم التحقق من الصدق والثبات، وأشارت النتائج إلى أن مستوى تأثير اضطراب التوحد على فقرات المقياس جاءت ما بين المرتفعة إلى المتوسطة والمنخفضة، حيث حصلت على أعلى درجة الفقرة: "أتألم حين أرى والدتي تعاني من الإرهاق والتعب بسبب العناية بشقيقي/ شقيقتي من اضطراب التوحد" بمتوسط حسابي (3,69)، أما الفقرة الأقل انخفاضًا وهي: "أحمل والدي مسؤولية إنجاب شقيقي التوحدي"، وبلغ المتوسط الحسابي (2.037)، وأشارت النتائج بأن قيمة معامل الارتباط بين درجة تأثيرا لاضطراب على الأشقاء والشقيقات والقلق الاجتماعي بلغت (0.745) مما يدل على وجود ارتباط طردي قوي بين درجة تأثير الاضطراب على الأشقاء والشقيقات والقلق الاجتماعي، وأظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين المتوسطات الحسابية لاستجابات أفراد العينة عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05≥ 𝛼) على مقياس اضطراب التوحد تبعًا لمتغيرات الدراسة (الجنس، العمر الزمني، المستوى التعليمي، ومستوى الدخل)، لدى الأشقاء والشقيقات، كذلك لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05≥𝛼) على متغير العمر الزمني وشدة الاضطراب، ووضع الشقيق/ ملتحق/ غير ملتحق بمركز. أوصت الباحثة على ضرورة إجراء بحوث نوعية على عينة أكبر تتضمن متغيرات أخرى، ودعم برامج تمكين الأسر والأشقاء لحمايتهم. The current study aimed to identify and determine scope of impact of autism disorder on siblings of both sexes within the family unit and its relationship with social anxiety. The study sample consisted of (82) brothers and sisters. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher developed two study tools. Validity, reliability and consistency were subsequently tested and verified. Results indicated that the level of impact of autism disorder according to the rating scale used ranged between high to medium low, whereby the following item / or paragraph got the highest score: "I suffer when I see my mother suffers from exhaustion, tiredness and fatigue due to continuous care she offers to my autistic brother/ sister " with an arithmetic mean of 3.69. On the other hand, the following item/ paragraph got the lowest score: "I hold my father responsible for having an autistic brother", with an arithmetic mean of 2.037. The results indicated that the value of the correlation coefficient between the degree of influence of autism disorder on brothers and sisters and social anxiety amounted to (0.05≥ 𝛼), which affirms a strong direct correlation between the degree of influence of the autism disorder on brothers and sisters and social anxiety. Moreover, results also revealed that there is no statistically significant differences between the arithmetic means of sample respondents' answers at the significance level (0.05≥ 𝛼) on the autism spectrum disorder scale in view of variables examined and measured among brothers and sisters involved in this study including (gender, chronological age, education and income level). Furthermore, no substantial differences were detected at the level of significance (0.05≥ 𝛼) according to age, severity of the disorder, or status of siblings (brothers/ sisters) whether enrolled or not enrolled in a center. Finally, the researcher recommended and stressed the importance of conducting more in-depth qualitative studies on a larger sample that covers other variables as well as providing support to programs aimed at empowering and protecting families and siblings. | ||
