Abstract
تتناول الدراسة سبل توفير الراحه الحراريه فى المبانى المعاصرة بالمناخ الحار الجاف، بإستخدام الطرق السالبه ( التي لا تعتمد على إستهلاك الطاقه)، وذلك من خلال دراسة العناصر المحققة للراحة الحرارية من خلال توفير التهوية الطبيعية. يهدف البحث لدراسة كيفية عمل منظومة التهوية بالعمارة التقليدية، بالإعتماد على أسس التهوية الطبيعية الجيدة، بإستخدام عناصر العمارة التقليدية وهى الفناء والشخشيخه والملقف و المشربية. وقد إشتملت الدراسة رصد التطور لكل عنصر من عناصر نظم التهوية التقليدية، للوقوف على مدى إمكانية و كيفية الإستخدام الأمثل لهم فى العصر الحالى، فقد أثبتت النماذج المعاصرة إندماج جميع هذة العناصر تقريبا (بخلاف تطور الملقف على المستوى الرأسى) ومرونتها فى التكيف مع كل ما يقدمة التطور التكنولوجى من مواد الإنشاء والنظم والتقنيات الحديثة وكذلك إتجاهات العمارة المعاصرة، بما يتوافق مع تطور نمط البناء أيضا على المستويين الأفقى والرأسى بهدف توفيركفاءة الراحة الحرارية من خلال التهوية الطبيعية بأقل قدر من إستهلاك الطاقة، ليتسنى تطبيقة بشكل واسع بما يحقق الحفاظ على الهوية والوظيفة البيئة و حفظ الطاقة.
