| Abstract | ||
| Background: :Cerebellum is a vital component in the human brain as it plays a role in motor movement regulation and balance control. The cerebellum coordinates gait and maintains posture, controls muscle tone and voluntary muscle activity .cerebellum is particularly susceptible to developmental and environmental injury because of its long developmental period tramadol is a synthetic centrally acting analgesic agent used for treating moderate to severe pain including postoperative, gynecologic and obstetric pain. Aim of the work: Toto shed light on the effects of tramadol in the cerebellar cortex of postnatal male albino rat offspring's after Prenatal Exposure to tramadol Methods: 12-rats were equally divided into two groups: Control group and Tramadol group. Histological approach and assessment of serum glutathione (GSH) were done. Results: Tramadol group showed degenerative changes on the cerebellum. Conclusion: Tramadol had an obvious damage on offspring's cerebellum with decreased level of GSH. Keywords: Tramadol, offspring's ,cerebellum and GSH. | ||
