| Abstract | ||
| Introduction: recently high resolution ultrasonography has a major role to easily diagnose musculoskeletal and neurological disorders and also contributes in treatment plane. Aim: To assess the advantage of using high resolution ultrasonography in diagnosis of carpal tunnel syndrome patients. Methods: This study was an observational study, conducted on 46 patients between 18 and 60 year old, presenting with clinical manifestations of carpal tunnel syndrome . They were referred from outpatient clinic of university hospital during 6-month duration starting from June 2019 after approval of ethical committee of our institution. Results: revealed that many findings evaluated by high resolution sonography plays golden role in carpal tunnel syndrome diagnosis. Conclusion: assessment of carpal tunnel syndrome by high resolution sonography is highly effective and supportive in diagnosis. | ||
