| Abstract | ||
| The clothing industry plays a role in the economies of countries, so it has great importance in all countries, so science and modern technology are crowned to develop this industry. The fabrics used in the clothes of hotel chefs must have standard specifications in order to suit the functionality and comfort requirements of the user by using appropriate materials to have the ability to absorb liquids, have high permeability, and resist fungus and bacteria. Bamboo and Tencel fibers are distinguished by many specifications that meet the necessary requirements for hotel chef clothes, and among these properties are resistance to bacteria, in addition to maintaining this feature even after washing it several times, and these materials are characterized by resistance to allergies on the skin. It provides the wearer with a feeling of coolness in addition to absorbing moisture. The research aims to study the best ratio of mixing cotton with tencel and bamboo fibers to produce fabrics suitable for hotel chef clothes, by reaching the best mixing ratio and the best raw material. For cotton, mixing ratios according to the number of bamboo rims for cotton are as follows (100% cotton, 75% cotton: 25% tencel, 50% cotton: 50% tencel, 25% cotton: 75% tencel, 100% tencel),75% Cotton: 25% Bamboo, 50% Cotton: 50% Bamboo, 25% Cotton: 75% Bamboo, 100% Bamboo). Various tests were carried out on the produced fabrics, measuring thickness, weight per square meter, tensile strength and elongation, moisture absorption and air permeability, and most of the samples achieved desired results. | ||
