| "Partial Brain Functions According to the Type of Competition and Its Relationship with the Level of Achievement in Traditional Karate" Research Objectives: 1- Identifying the brain control patterns of traditional karate players based on the type of competition (Ippon Shobu, Kogu, Fukugu, Kata, Enbu). 2- Determining the brain control patterns of traditional karate players based on the differences in competition type (Ippon Shobu, Kogu, Fukugu, Kata, Enbu) and gender (males, females). 3- Exploring the relationship between brain control patterns and achievement levels in each category of traditional karate competitions for both males and females. The Community of this research comprises first-degree karate players in the Arab Republic of Egypt, who are registered with the Egyptian Karate Federation. The sample, consisting of 100 male and female players above the age of 20, was selected using a random sampling method. The research tool was applied to the primary research sample during the period from September 1st to September 10th, 2023. Data Collection Tools ،The researcher used scale for collecting data in this research, "Brain Control Scale for Traditional Karate Players" by Doaa shawkey - Hazem El ropy Conclusions: - The dominant brain control pattern for traditional Karate players is a balanced pattern in the general form. - The dominant brain control pattern for Ippon Shubo, Kojou, Fukojou, and Anbo players is a balanced pattern. - The dominant brain control pattern for Kata players is the left pattern. - There is no statistically significant difference in the distribution of the three patterns based on gender, but differences appear at the specialization level in some axes. - There is no statistically significant relationship between achievement and cognitive control for male and female traditional Karate players in any competition, except for Anbo and Kata, where the left hemisphere pattern dominates achievement in males. | ||
