Abstract
الملخص:
تؤثر أشرطة اللواصق القديمة (OAT) Old Adhesive Tapes على سلامة وعدم قدرة قراءة الرسومات والأعمال الفنية الورقية، كما يصعب إزالة أشرطة اللصق عن العمل الورقي بسبب تغلغل واتحاد المادة اللاصقة مع مكونات الورق كيميائيا بجانب الحساسية المفرطة لكل من الورق والحبر والأصباغ للمذيبات والأدوات المستخدمة في عمليات الإزالة والترميم، ولذلك نقدم في هذا البحث دراسة لكيفية إزالة أشرطة اللواصق القديمةOAT، استنادًا على إضافة المذيبات العضوية بالمواد الهلامية (الجل)، فأجرينا معالجة بإزالة مجموعة من الدعامات   OAT باستخدام الإزالة الميكانيكية مع تنظيف تأثير المادة اللاصقة باستخدام (جل الأجاروز) على كتاب ورقي مطبوع من أوائل القرن العشرين يحتوي على أنواع مختلفة من الاشكال الفنية (كتابات ورسومات)، وقد راقبنا قدرة الهلام العضوي (جل الأجاروز)على التنظيف وإزالة تأثير اللاصق القديم من المخطوط، فتبين عدم إصابة الكتاب بأي مظهر من مظاهر التلف المصاحبة للإزالة مثل نزيف الأحبار أو تنقل المادة المذابة اللاصقة وانتشارها في عموم الورق، وذلك بفضل قدرة المادة الهلامية على الاحتفاظ بالمذيب واستخدامه كعلاج موضعي، وتم تقييم المعالجة المستخدمة بعدة قياسات وفحوصات قبل وبعد المعالجة (التحليل باستخدام الاشعة تحت الحمراء، قياس درجة الحموضة، قياس زاوية الاتصال، الفحص بميكروسكوب الهاتف الخلوي، قياس التغير اللوني) حيث ثبت أن المعالجة باستخدام (جل الأجاروز) أداة فعالة لإزالة التأثيرات المتلفة للواصق القديمة، وأنهينا العمل بإعادة لصق القَطع المزال عنه اللاصق القديم باستخدام (كربوكسي ميثيل سيليولوز)، فسمح لنا ذلك التغلب على قيود أساليب التنظيف التقليدية لتأثير اللواصق القديمة على المخطوط.
Abstract:
Old Adhesive Tapes (OAT) affect the integrity and inability to read drawings and paper artwork. It is also difficult to remove adhesive tapes from paperwork due to the penetration and chemical combination of the adhesive with the paper components, in addition to the excessive sensitivity of the paper, ink and dyes to the solvents and tools used in the processes of removal and restoration. Therefore, in this research, we present a critical look and scientific methodological expansion for removing old OAT adhesive tapes, based on the addition of organic solvents to gels. We conducted treatment by removing a group of OAT supports using mechanical removal while cleaning the effect of the adhesive using (agarose gel) on a book Printed paper from the early twentieth century containing different types of artistic forms (writings and drawings). We monitored the ability of the organic gel (agarose gel) to clean and remove the effect of old adhesive from the manuscript. It was found that the book did not suffer from any signs of damage associated with removal, such as ink bleeding. Or the adhesive dissolved material is transferred and spreads throughout the paper, thanks to the ability of the gelatinous material to retain the solvent and use it as a topical treatment. The treatment used was evaluated using several measurements and examinations before and after treatment (infrared analysis, pH measurement, contact angle measurement, examination with a telephone microscope) Cellular, color change measurement) as it has been proven that treatment using (agarose gel) is an effective tool for removing the effect of old adhesives, and we finished the work by re-gluing the pieces from which the old adhesive was removed using (carboxymethyl cellulose). This allowed us to overcome the limitations of traditional cleaning methods due to the effect of old adhesives on the manuscript.
