| Abstract | ||
| The Qur'anic story is not merely a work of art, but a means of guidance and calling. It is unique in that it recounts factual events and has the power to take the reader from one place to another in an engaging manner. This paper is devoted to delve into the various narrative elements that combine to form a cohesive unit, crystallize concepts and ideas, and draw the audience's attention to specific conclusions. Additionally, it provides a comprehensive discussion of the art of narrative in Arabic and English literature, as well as the Qur'anic story. It aims to investigate the main elements, types and classifications of narrative, elucidate the value and importance of narrative in Arabic and English literatures, and examine how the elements of narrative are employed in Moses’ story in the Holy Qur’an. By using the story of Moses (peace be upon him) as a case study, which is the most frequently repeated story in the Qur'an, this paper also tends to stimulate readers to find a mutual base that connects them with the storyteller. | ||
