| Abstract | ||
| تتناول هذه الدراسة الهدايا ودورها في الفكر السومري والأكادي والبابلي القديم؛ فقد كان للهدايا دورٌ كبيرٌ في الفكر السياسي والديني والأدبي السومري والأكادي والبابلي؛ حيث استخدمها الملوك في الدعاية السياسية ذات الخلفية الدينية لملكهم، وذلك لإحكام قبضتهم على شعوبهم، كما جعلوها شرطًا رئيسًا في المعاهدات السياسية والعسكرية بينهم وبين حُلفائهم، كما كان للهدايا دورٌ بارزٌ في الفكر الديني السومري والأكادي والبابلي القديم، لا سيما ذلك الفكر الذي تعكسه نصوص الأساطير والملاحم والنبوءات والترانيم ونصوص الطقوس والشعائر وغيرها، كذلك شغلت الهدايا حيزًا كبيرًا في الفكر الأدبي؛ حيث كان لها أثر ملموس في المؤلفات الأدبية، لا سيما في أدب المناظرات أو أدب الحكمة أو المراثي أو اللعنات أو القصائد أو الأمثال أو الأغاني وغيرها، ويتضح من نصوص هذه المؤلفات تأثرها الكبير بالحياة الاجتماعية الواقعية، كما كان للهدايا دورٌ في الفكر التشريعي البابلي القديم؛ فقد عالجت عدة مواد قانونية بعض أغراض الهدايا والمناسبات التي تُقدم فيها ومقاديرها ومن عليه تقديمها، وهي في مُجملها خاصة بالمناسبات الأسرية؛ كالخِطبة والزواج وهدايا الزوج لزوجته وهدايا الأب لأبنائه وهدايا الأبناء لآبائهم وغيرها من المناسبات والأغراض الاجتماعية والأسرية. This study examines the role of gifts in ancient Sumerian, Akkadian, and Babylonian thought. Gifts played a significant role in Sumerian, Akkadian, and Babylonian political, religious, and literary thought. Kings utilized gifts in political propaganda with a religious background to strengthen their grip on their people. They also made them a chief condition in political and military treaties between them and their allies. Gifts also played a prominent role in Sumerian, Akkadian, and Babylonian religious thought, particularly in texts reflecting myths, epics, prophecies, hymns, ritual texts, and ceremonies, among others. Additionally, gifts occupied a significant place in literary thought, where they had a tangible impact on literary works, particularly in debates, wisdom literature, elegies, curses, poems, proverbs, songs, and others. It is evident from the texts of these works that they were greatly influenced by real social life. Furthermore, gifts played a role in ancient Babylonian legislative thought, as several legal materials addressed some purposes of gifts, occasions for giving them, quantities, and who is obliged to give them. These materials mostly pertained to family occasions, such as betrothal, marriage, gifts from a husband to his wife, gifts from a father to his children, and gifts from children to their parents, among other social and family occasions and purposes. | ||
