| Abstract | ||
| Purpose : This study aimed to evaluate the clinical and radiographic outcomes of premixed bioceramic putty as a direct pulp capping in primary molars over a 12-month follow-up period. Methods : This study included forty primary molars with deep occlusal carious lesions, whose removal resulted in pulp exposure. They were treated with direct pulp capping using premixed bioceramic putty. All teeth were covered using high viscosity glass ionomer and immediately restored with stainless steel crowns to ensure proper seal. Clinical examinations were conducted at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months, while radiographic examinations were conducted at 6 and 12 months follow up interval. Results : Forty teeth were available for follow up. By the end of the 12 months, the overall clinical and radiographic success was 87.5%. Conclusions : Radiographic and clinical outcomes of premixed bioceramic putty could suggest it as an effective and acceptable material to use in direct pulp capping of primary molars. | ||
