| Abstract | ||
| The current study aimed to verify the psychometric properties of the Kinesthetic Perception Scale for children with Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD). To achieve this goal, the researcher reviewed theoretical frameworks and previous studies related to kinesthetic perception in children with DCD to develop the scale. The study included (40) children with DCD, selected randomly from the Al-Yusr Association for Special Needs in Maadi. The purpose was to examine the psychometric properties of the study instruments. The researcher utilized a set of instruments, including the Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scale (Fifth Edition) (Developed by Mahmoud Abu El-Nil, 2011), the Developmental Coordination Disorder Questionnaire (DCDQ’07) (Developed by Wilson, Crawford, Green, Roberts, Aylott, & Kaplan, 2012; translated by Ihab El-Beblawy / Islam Abdel-Rahman / Nayra Abo Gteer), and the Kinesthetic Perception Scale for children with DCD (Developed by Ihab El-Beblawy / Islam Abdel-Rahman / Nayra Abo Gteer ). The research findings revealed that the Kinesthetic Perception Scale for children with DCD has high validity and reliability, making it suitable for use in future research. | ||
