| Abstract | ||
| The objective of this study was to identify the most crucial requirements for the practice of transformational leadership at the College of Basic Education in Kuwait. Additionally, the study aimed to uncover any discrepancies in the responses of the study sample, which may be attributed to variables such as job title, years of service, and self-development in the field of transformational leadership. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers employed the descriptive-correlational method. The study instrument was a questionnaire that had been previously validated, checked for reliability and stability, and then applied to a sample of senior and middle management, comprising 22 individuals (five assistant deans and 17 department heads) out of a total of 20 in the College of Basic Education in the State of Kuwait. The study yielded a number of findings, including: The requirements of Idealized influence, individual consideration, and intellectual stimulation were identified as being of paramount importance for the practice of transformational leadership at the College of Basic Education in Kuwait. These findings were reported by the assistant deans and department heads with an arithmetic mean of (4.67), with Idealized influence requirements being identified as the most important, individual consideration requirements as the second most important, and intellectual stimulation requirements as the third most important. Inspirational stimulation requirements were identified as the least important. The results also demonstrated that there were no significant differences in the responses of the study sample in identifying the requirements for practising the dimensions of transformational leadership attributed to the variables of job title, years of service, and self-development in the field of transformational leadership. | ||
