| Abstract | ||
| The technical and scientific expertise and field observations covered by this study have proven that no matter how successful the treatment works are, they do not guarantee the required safety, which requires serious and periodic maintenance of archaeological buildings by providing the best conditions that suit their condition and also are compatible with the conditions of the era and the ongoing civilizational transformations. Although the ages and conditions of archaeological buildings vary, they need a continuous preventive maintenance phase in terms of preparing the building to confront the masses of dangers to which it may be exposed, such as mechanical, biological and chemical factors. Therefore, some case studies must be analyzed to review the best maintenance methods appropriate for most of the damage factors to which the elements of archaeological buildings are exposed. The research paper presents the case studies through which we will cover most of the manifestations of damage to the archaeological building, then we will discuss the maintenance methods for the architectural elements and put forward some recommendations that must be followed in the maintenance phase to preserve the archaeological building. لقد أثبتت الخبرة الفنية والعلمية والمشاهدات الميدانية التى تتناولها هذه الدراسة أن أعمال العلاج مهما كانت ترتقى لأفضل مستوى من النجاح إلا أنها لاتكفل الأمان المطلوب مما يستوجب صيانة المبانى الأثرية بصفة جدية ودورية وذلك من خلال تهيئة أفضل الظروف التى تناسب حالتها وأيضا يتلائم مع ظروف العصر والتحولات الحضارية المستمرة. ورغم أن المبانى الأثرية تتفاوت أعمارها وحالاتها إلا أنها تحتاج إلى مرحلة الصيانة الوقائية المستمرة من حيث تهيئة المبنى لمجابهة كتل الأخطار الوارد التعرض لها مثل العوامل الميكانيكية والبيولوجية والكيميائيه لذا وجب تحليل بعض الحالات الدراسية لإستعراض أفضل طرق الصيانة المناسبة لمعظم عوامل التلف التى تتعرض لها عناصر المبانى الأثرية وتعرض الورقة البحثية الحالات الدراسية التى من خلالها سنغطى معظم مظاهر التلف بالمبنى الأثرى ثم نتناول طرق الصيانة الخاصة بالعناصر المعمارية ووضع بعض التوصيات الواجب إتباعها فى مرحلة الصيانة للحفاظ على المبنى الأثرى. | ||
