| Abstract | ||
| Chemically modified sawdust zinc nanoparticles (MC/Zn-NPs) were created and examined utilizing a number of specialized methods, including energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), FT-IR, BET, and scanning electron microscopy. The MC/Zn-NPs that were created were utilized to absorb various organic dyes from different sources, including crystal violet, methylene blue, and malachite green dye. The ideal sorption conditions have been determined through examining sorption parameters such as pH, temperature, sorption period, and sorbent concentration. The second-order model was in agreement with the sorption kinetics, and the chemical adsorption is the rate-limiting step. Additionally, the sorption isotherm experiments showed that 180, 250, and 210 mg/g of crystal violet, methylene blue, and malachite green dye, respectively, were the best acceptable with Langmuir model sorption uptake of (MC/Ag-NPs). Crystal violet, methylene blue, and malachite green dye were among the actual samples that were utilized for analytical applications with the current methodology, and the results show promise. | ||
