| Illustrations play a crucial role in developing reading skills for both typical children and those with dyslexia during early childhood. Educational illustrated books for the Arabic alphabet help establish a connection between the shape of a letter and its sound using simplified illustrations that represent Arabic letters. These illustrations align with the letter's phoneme, which is the smallest unit of sound in a language. This research aims to develop a scientific method using illustrations to create a simplified approach for teaching the Arabic alphabet to children and to address dyslexia. The research highlights the significance of a scientific approach to using illustrations to simplify the Arabic alphabet in a way that aligns with the visual perception of young children and those with dyslexia. Given that children need to develop their language skills during early childhood as a precursor to learning to read The research problem are: • How can a connection between the shape of a letter and its sound be established in a using illustration? • Did the illustrations contribute to the recognition of Arabic letters by typical children? • Did the illustrations help in treating dyslexia in children? The research employs an experimental methodology, which includes: Creating illustrations representing Arabic alphabet letters. Measuring children's responses to the illustrations and the effectiveness of treating dyslexia. The expected research results include: Establishing a connection between the shape of a letter and its sound The researcher recommends using to develop reading skills during early childhood. | ||
