| Abstract | ||
| As a result of technological advancement and the use of information technology at the end of the twentieth century, along with the concept of remote work and its impact on the nature of office work, a new evolution emerged in the design of office spaces. With the emergence of virtual platforms such as the "Metaverse," which have become spaces for work in various specialties, it served as an indicator of the importance of reconsidering the use of internal spaces that may not have future utility. Consequently, the switch to a hybrid model was required. In response to this, companies and public administrations are working on developing integrated workspaces to provide individuals with access to a variety of places designed according to their needs and the nature of remote work. Switching to a mixed model of workspaces that brings together different specialties and companies in one place requires a reconsideration of the interior design of traditional office spaces to avoid issues of distraction and lack of focus. Additionally, the design should avoid the psychological impacts that users may feel and should rely on theories such as attention restoration and activity-centered design, which are environmental design strategies. Restoration or psychological restoration in the field of environmental psychology involves replenishing depleted resources, which can be psychological (such as attention and emotions), physiological (such as stress), and social. Interaction with the restorative environment can transform negative states into positive ones. | ||
