Abstract
هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على مصادر الدعم الاجتماعي لدى طلبة کليات الشمال، وأيضا جوانب الدعم الاجتماعي وعلاقتها بمتغيرات الجنس والکلية والدرجة العلمية والمستوى الدراسي. ولتحقيق ذلک تم استخدام مقياس للدعم الاجتماعي والذي تم تطويره من قبل المطالقة وزملائه (2010), واشتمل على جزأين الأول: تناول معلومات عامة تتعلق بالطلبة وهي: الجنس والکلية والدرجة العلمية، والمستوى الدراسي، أما الجزء الثاني فاشتمل على مقياس الدراسة والذي تکون من 30 فقرة موزعة على ثلاثة جوانب وهي الجانب المادي والجانب العاطفي والجانب المعلوماتي. وتکونت عينة الدراسة من (1357) طالبا وطالبة اختيرت بالطريقة العشوائية البسيطة وبلغ حجم العينة (15%) من مجتمع الدراسة. وأظهرت النتائج أن أهم مصادر الدعم الاجتماعي المفضلة لدى الطلبة وحسب الأهمية هي مصدر الأسرة، يليها مصدرالأقارب، ومصدر الأصدقاء، ومصدر المدرس، وحل في المرتبة الخامسة والأخيرة مصدر المرشد الأکاديمي کمصدر دعم للطلبة. کما أظهرت النتائج أن جوانب الدعم الاجتماعي، الجانب المعلوماتي ثم الجانب العاطفي فالجانب المادي في المرتبة الأخيرة. واقترح الباحثان بعض التوصيات کإنشاء قسم خاص وخط ساخن بالکليات بهدف ربط وتفعيل الاتصال بين الکلية والمصادر المجتمعية المختلفة والتي تعنى بالدعم الاجتماعي للطلبة، وتفعيل دور المرشدين الأکاديميين والمدرسين مع الطلبة وبيان أهمية إرشاد الطلبة بالطرق السليمة للحصول على المعلومة الصحية، وتفعيل دور اقسام شوؤن الطلبة في توفير الدعم الاجتماعي للطلبة، وإجراء المزيد من الدراسات لمعرفة أهمية الدعم الاجتماعي للجوانب المختلفة والمتعلقة بالطالب کالتحصيل الدراسي والتکيف والاکتئاب والعنف الطلابي على سبيل المثال وليس الحصر وغيرها من الجوانب المهمة للطلبة.
This study aimed at investigating the sources of social support prefered by northern college students that belong to Al-Balqa Applied University, and it is relation with some variables such as gender, the college, academic major and level of education. For this purpose a scale of social support was developed by the Al-matalka et,al (2010). The scale consisted of two parts: the first part included the following variables: gender, the college, academic major and level of educations. The second part included (30) items consisted of three dimensions, the material support, emotional support and informational support. A simple random sample of 538 students was selected (15 % of the total population).The results revealed that the most prefered sources of social support was the family source , the source of relatives, the friends , the teacher, and in the fifth came the academic advisor.The finding also revealed that there are three dimensions of support: the informational support, emotional support , and material support. The researchers suggested some recommendations such as: establishing a special department and a hotlinein the colleges in order to bind and activate communication between the college and various community sources that dealing with social support for students, activating the role of the academics counselors, and teachers with the students and make clear the importance of student's guidance and ways to get the correct information, activating the role of department of students affairs in providing social support for students, and carrying out further research and studies to know the importanceand impact of social support on the various aspects of student academic life such as:Academic achievement, depression, students adjustment and student violence..
