| Abstract | ||
| Problem: We are living in days where technology has overwhelmed our lives to extinct our original culture legacies and replace it with modern western values and behaviors that doesn’t suit us as Arabian culture. Palestinian motifs is one of the most inspiring source of original designs, it is characterized with simplicity, natural and is inspired from surrounded environment. Modernizing and maintain the use of this motifs in our modern fashion designs keeps our Arabian identity, thus this study focus on Palestinian motifs elements and its use in modern women cloth designs. Problem can be concluded in the following queries: What are the main characters of Palestinian custom motifs? How to customize these motifs in modern fashion designs? How to face the extinction of our cultural motifs in our fashion designs and its revival? Study Significance: Study of Palestinian custom motifs as artistic and aesthetic value and reuse it in modern fashion designs. 2- Revival of heritage and prevention of extinction and transfer it to the next generation. 3- Achieving originality that reject foreign art and link it to contemporary and reuse of ancient arts. Methodology: Research follows analytical descriptive approach. Results: All designs have been implemented and presented to professional judges with its consumables and a questionnaire form, results proved that all designs are in good level and acceptable. | ||
