Abstract
هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة مستوى المعرفة السياسية لدى طلبة کلية التربية الأساسية في دولة الکويت، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة قام الباحث بتصميم وتطبيق اختبار من نوع اختيار من متعدد ويتضمن خمس مجالات (المعرفة السياسية على المستوى المحلي التاريخي، المعرفة السياسية على المستوي المحلي المعاصر، المعرفة السياسية على المستوى الدولي التاريخي، المعرفة السياسية على المستوي الدولي المعاصر، المفاهيم السياسية). وقد تکونت عينة الدراسة من (748) طالباً وطالبةً من طلبة کلية التربية الأساسية بدولة الکويت اختيروا بطريقة عشوائية. وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن المعرفة السياسية لدى عينة الدراسة جاءت بمستوى مرتفع في مجال المعرفة السياسية على المستوى المحلي التاريخي، بينما جاءت بمستوى متدني في مجال المفاهيم السياسية، وبمستوى متوسط في باقي مجالات الدراسة وعلى الأداة ککل. کما بينت النتائج وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً عند مستوى الدلالة (α≤0.05) في مستوى المعرفة السياسية لدى الطلبة تعزى لمتغيري النوع والسنة الدراسية، وذلک لصالح الذکور، وطلبة السنة الأولى والثانية، وعدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً تعزى لمتغير المستوى التعليمي للأب. The present study aimed to identify the level of political knowledge among the students at the Faculty of Basic Education in Kuwait. To achieve the aims, the researcher developed and administered a multiple-choice test including five domains (political knowledge at the historical local level, political knowledge at the contemporary local level, political knowledge at the historical international level, political knowledge at the historical international level and political concepts). The study sample consisted of 748 students at the Faculty of Basic Education who were selected randomly. Results of the study showed that the level of political knowledge at the domain of historical local level was high among students; however, it was low at the domain of political concepts, and average at all other domains in general. Furthermore, the study showed that there were statistically significant differences in the level of political knowledge among students which might be attributed to sex and years of study. The results were in favour of the male students, and students of first and the second years. More importantly, there were no statistically significant differences attributed to fathers' education.
