| Abstract | ||
| The ability of the state to achieve its food security has become one of the most important food commodities, especially from the main food commodities such as grains, legumes, oils, meat and dairy, and sugar, one of the most important challenges facing the state and affecting its economic, social and political stability, especially in light of the global economic and political changes that led to a rise in A large increase in the prices of food commodities and unprecedented waves of inflation, in addition to the possible shortage of some food commodities such as wheat due to political problems such as the Russian-Ukrainian crisis. Wheat is larger in area than any other food crop, as it is grown in different types of soil fertility. The problem of the study comes from the widening gap between production and consumption. Therefore, the study aims to identify the impact of some factors on production in order to direct the production elements to the best use of them, leading to the optimal use of those resources in the production of field crops. The results of estimating the production response function for the wheat crop show that the estimated mathematical relationship is significant at the level of 1% according to the estimated value of F. Also, the independent factors that determine the relationship are responsible for the increase in production by 98%. The results of estimating the production response function for the wheat crop in the old lands show significant. | ||
